Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll hits 876 with 14 new fatalities

KATHMANDU: A total of 14 people died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus death toll has reached 876 as of Tuesday afternoon with the new deaths.

Meanwhile, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 160,400 as of Tuesday afternoon after 570 persons tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 2,725 sample tests were conducted across the country in the past 24 hours.

A total of 3,168 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 118,843 in the country.

Nepal currently has 40,681 active cases.

Likewise, 2,932 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.
