Govt asks labs to provide PCR report including positive to concerned person

KATHMANDU: The government has asked all COVID-19 testing labs to handover the test report to the concerned person only.

Speaking at the regular press briefing on Sunday, Dr Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson at Ministry of Health and Population, said if the report is positive or negative, it should be given to the concerned person.

Earlier, government has decided to keep all the infected persons in isolation centers but now many persons are living in home isolation.

Earlier, the lab used to send the negative report to the concerned person and the positive report to the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division.
