Province 1 sees record-high 181 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

BIRATNAGAR: Province-1 has seen a record-high of 181 coronavirus cases on Sunday.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Province 1, the province witnessed 181 cases, including 130 cases in Biratnagar Metropolitan City alone.

Morang district alone has reported 167 cases.

Similarly, there have been 7 cases of coronavirus in Sunsari, 3 in Jhapa, 2 in Bhojpur, and 1 in Tehrathum district.

One more case found in the province is said to be from outside Province 1.

With Sunday’s cases, the number of coronavirus case in the province has reached to 6,436.

Likewise, 36 persons were discharged in the province after recovery.

Similarly, 2,225 people have been discharged from various isolation centers in Province 1 so far.
