Two nabbed with 84 kilograms marijuana in Udayapur



UDAYAPUR: Police have arrested two people from Talpi Rural Municipality with 84 kilograms of marijuana on Thursday.

A police team deployed from District Police Office, Udayapur nabbed Pushpa Bahadur Magar, 29, of Talpi-1 and Ram Bahadur Tamang, 43, of Talpi-3.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided the shed of Satna Bahadur Tamang and seized the consignment and a khukuri.

The law enforcement agency stated that the marijuana was hidden for smuggling to India.
