Kapilvastu reports 19 new cases of coronavirus

KAPILVASTU: Kapilvastu has reported 19 new cases of coronavirus pandemic on Thursday.

According to the District Health Office Kapilvastu, out of 80 swabs collected on the basis of contact tracing from Krishnanagar Customs Office, 19 have shown positive results.

The Office informed that results of 21 swabs are yet to come.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases in Kapilvastu has climbed to 1,093.

Kapilvastu has seen 3 coronavirus deaths till date.

The country has been witnessing an alarming increase in coronavirus cases since the lockdown enforced was lifted on July 22.

With the sudden surge of coronavirus cases, Kapilvastu has re-enforced prohibitory order.
