Gold price hits Rs 97,500 per tola today



KATHMANDU: Gold price increased by Rs 1,200 per tola in the domestic market on Monday, setting a new high of Rs 97,500 per tola (11.664 grams).

The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs 96,300 per tola on Sunday.

Likewise, silver registered an increase by Rs 60 to be traded at Rs 1,210.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), bullion prices have gone high in the international market owing to the coronavirus epidemic.
