KATHMANDU: With two weather systems getting active, the rain is occurring in various 15 districts in Nepal since early Monday.
According to Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), heavy rain is occurring in Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Saptari, Chitwan, Dhading, Tanahun, Syangja, Kaski, Tanahun, Palpa, Gulmi, Nawalparasi, Rupandehi, Kapilvastu.
People living near the banks of rivers and rivulets are cautioned of possible risk of floods and landslides.
Meanwhile, the water level in the Tinau River has crossed the danger mark posing risk of inundation along the banks.
With the monsoon getting active again, light to moderate rain is occurring in many places in the country and heavy rain in some places.
MFD has forecast heavy rains in the next three to four days since low pressure line is located near Tarai region and the vapor is arriving in Nepal from the Arabian Sea.
