BUTWAL: Province 5 government has decided to provide Rs 20 per kg to those who collect locusts.
It has been decided to provide money to the insect collectors as an incentive, said Kamana Adhikari, Senior Crop Protection Officer of the Agriculture Development Directorate, Province No. 5.
The collected locusts should be handed over to the local level and the amount will be provided as an incentive through the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, said the official.
