Public holiday announced in Karnali Province on June 29



SURKHET: The Karnali State government has announced a public holiday in all districts of the state except Jumla on June 29 on the National Paddy Day.

Paddy plantation in Jumla starts in the Nepali month of Chaitra. As a result, the state government announced a public holiday in Jumla on March 25 on the same occasion.

The State Cabinet meeting on May 25 announced a public holiday in all districts of the state except Jumla on June 29, said Tul Khadka, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law.
