KATHMANDU: Five more coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

At a regular press briefing at the Ministry of Health and Population on Saturday, Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said coronavirus has been confirmed in five more people in the Valley.

Of the infected, four are from Kathmandu and one from Bhaktapur. One woman and three men were found infected with coronavirus in Kathmandu and one man in Bhaktapur.

He added that 554 more cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours across Nepal that took the tally to 12,309.
