COVID-19 spreads to all 77 districts of Nepal (with district-wise list)

KATHMANDU: COVID-19 has spread to all 77 districts of Nepal after cases reported in Rasuwa district of Bagmati Province on Saturday.

According to Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health, nine people from Rasuwa were found to have coronavirus infection during the test conducted at the National Public Health Laboratory, Teku.

Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in eight women and one man of Rasuwa, he said.

A total of 554 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Nepal in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Spokesperson Dr. Gautam said that among the newly-infected are 434 males and 120 females.

With the news cases, the total number of confirmed cases has reached 12,309.
