Ex-NSC Member Secretary Singh passes away



KATHMANDU: Former Member Secretary of the National Sports Council (NSC) Raj Bahadur Singh has died at the age of 88 years.

According to his grandson Sushil Malla, Singh breathed his last at his residence in Chhauni on Friday night.

Singh had been suffering from asthma for a long time. Late Singh was the seventh Member Secretary at NSC from 2048 BS to 2050 BS.

His last rites were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat on Saturday.

Singh is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
Meanwhile, NSC Member Secretary Ramesh Kumar Silwal has expressed grief over Singh’s demise and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
