Two NA personnel deployed in managing dead body test COVID-19 positive



PALPA: Two security personnel deployed to manage the dead body of COVID-19 victim have caught the infection.

According to the District Health Office, Palpa, they had managed the dead body of a person of Siluwaka in Purvakhola Rural Municipality of the district.

According to Om Prakash Panthi, information officer at the Health Office, Palpa, two Nepal Army (NA) personnel aged 33 and 34 years assigned to manage the dead body have contacted coronavirus.

The information officer said that they have been kept in isolation since the dead body was managed.
