Two killed in Butwal vehicular collision

BUTWAL: Two people have died in a road accident that occurred at Ramnagar in Rupandehi district.

The deceased have been identified as Shushil Kunwar, 21, of Butwal-11, Kalikanagar and Roshan Gurung, 22, of Siyari rural municipality-6, Amuwa, confirmed DSP Dilli Narayan Pandey of Province Traffic Police Office, Butwal.

The incident took place when a container van, Ba 14 Cha 6879, heading to west from east, collided with a truck, Na 6 Kha 624, parked at Ramnagar on East-West Highway.

Kuwar and Gurung who sustained critical injuries passed away in the course of treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, said police.
