Survey Department warns action against unauthorized publication of Nepal’s map



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Survey Department has warned of action against those involved in printing and distributing the newly updated map of Nepal.

Issuing a press release on Tuesday, the department said that anyone who publishes the new map without approval from the department will be fined Rs 20,000 and such materials will be seized as per the prevailing laws.

Nepal’s updated map can be obtained paying Rs 50 at the department, the statement added.
