NA endorses Policy Research Academy Bill



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly has endorsed the ‘Policy Research Bill-2076 BS’. Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dr Shivamaya Tumbahangphe had presented the bill in the upper house meeting on behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli seeking endorsement of the proposed bill.

Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Lekhraj Bhatta has presented two bills – Standard Measurement (Fifth Amendment) Bill-2076 and Accreditation Bill-2076 BS – in the meeting.

Likewise, the meeting has sent Seed (Second Amendment) Bill-2075 and Plant Protection (Second Amendment) Bill-2075 to Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise discussion. Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ghanashyam Bhusal presented the bill.
