15,000 Nepalis enter Nepal without Coronavirus testing



KATHMANDU: Nepali migrant workers have started entering Nepal from India amidst lockdown imposed by the country to fight Coronavirus pandemic.

With the slight relaxation on the lockdown by the Indian government, Nepali people stranded in various Indian cities are making their way to back home.

Around 15,000 Nepalis have entered Nepal via various checkpoints in the Sudurpashchim Pradesh in the last few days.

According to sources, they entered via Gadda Chauki and Dodhara-Chandani of Kanchanpur, Gauriphanta of Kailali, Jhulaghat of Baitadi district without coronavirus testing.

It has increased the chances of Coronavirus cases in the Sudurpashchim Pradesh.
