Weather likely to become clear Sunday afternoon

KATHMANDU: The weather is likely to become clear today morning and afternoon for a short-time, the Meteorological Forecasting Division has said.

However, the weather is expected to take at least a week to get fully improved.

The Division said there will be generally to cloudy in the eastern and central regions and partly to generally cloudy in the western region in the next couple of days.

Brief rain accompanied with gusty winds, lightning, and hail has been predicted at several places of the eastern and central regions, according to the Division.

The wind generated from the Bay of Bengal carrying water vapor has entered Nepal from Friday. The impact of the Westerly wind and the local wind continues and the meeting of three systems of weather has triggered a light rainfall across the country.

Weather is not clear for the past few days and as a result, maximum temperature has dropped, causing cold.
