Home Ministry decides to ease supply of daily essentials thru delivery vans



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to ease the supply of daily essentials through delivery vans.

A meeting held under Chairmanship of Home Secretary Maheshwor Neupane decided to that effect. The decision comes in the wake of a shortage of daily essentials cause by a nationwide lockdown enforced to combat COVID-19.

The meeting decided to ease the supply of daily essentials through delivery vans owned by food stores and retailers in Kathmandu Valley.

The Ministry of Home Affairs in a statement said that the concerned District Administration Offices will issue necessary passes to such delivery vans.

Likewise, the meeting decided that all the ward offices facilitate the supply of daily essentials.
