KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has directed gas industries to sell half-filled gas cylinders.

According to Nepal LP Gas Industries Association, NOC has instructed gas industries to distribute half-filled gas cylinders.

With this, the customers will get 7.1 kgs gas instead of 14.2 kgs.

Earlier, during the India economic blockade, gas industries had distributed half-filled gas cylinders.

According to the industries, there is a demand of 90,000 cylinders in a day but, the supply of gas is halted due to the lockdown and border lock imposed by India and Nepal government.
