Gang of six ‘robbers’ arrested in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Police on Sunday arrested six persons involved in allegedly robbing people with Rs 5 million cash in Kathmandu.

The gang of six robbed Bachhuram Gurung of Bhagwanpau, Kathmandu by showing a khukuri and an iron rod, and subsequently throwing chili powder into his eyes, police said.

Police made the six public during a press conference in the Metropolitan Crime Division, Teku on Sunday.

The gang of six has been found involved in other robbery cases as well.
