Former NC lawmaker Karki passes away

KATHMANDU: Former Nepali Congress (NC) lawmaker Gambhir Jung Karki passed away on Saturday night.

Karki who had been undergoing regular dialysis following kidney failure breathed his last at the Dhapasi-based Grande Hospital.

He was elected to House of Representatives from Palpa-2 in an election held in 2048 BS.

Karki had also served as Palpa District President of the party from 2051-2056 BS.
