KAVRE: One person died after a tipper hit a motorcycle in the district on Saturday.
32-year-old Pradeep Shrestha was killed when the motorcycle he was riding, Ba 85 Pa 6026, heading to Dhulikhel from Panchkhal was hit by the tipper, Ba 4 Kha 1145.
The mishap happened at Panchkhal Municipality-5, 37 Kilo.
Shrestha, hailing from Mandandeupur Municipality-7 was seriously injured in the mishap and was rushed to Dhulikhel Hospital.
According to police, he died in course of treatment.
Pillion rider Samir Magar, 28, of Deurali-2 in Ramechhap has been receiving treatment at the hospital.
Police have impounded the tipper and arrested the driver.
