Bamdev Gautam meets Prachanda; says he is against House dissolution



LALITPUR: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam has met Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda at Prachanda’s residence in Khumaltar.

Gautam had abstained from the gathering of both factions when Prime Minister KP Oli and Prachanda started organizing the faction meetings.

According to NCP sources, Vice-Chairman Gautam had reached at Prachanda’s residence early in the morning and had held talks with him for about 45 minutes.

Gautam had been denying attending any gatherings after December 20. However, he reached Khumaltar to meet Prachanda.

During the meeting, Gautam said that he was against the dissolution of the parliament and would continue his stand, adding that party unity should be maintained in any case.
