India’s COVID-19 death toll passes 135,200 mark

NEW DELHI: India recorded 44,699 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 9,266,697.

Currently, 453,450 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 8,677,986 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 135,200 mark.

With 518 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 135,261, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.
