Province 2 confirms 31 fresh COVID-19 cases



PARSA: A total of 31 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Parsa, Bara and Rautahat districts.

In tests conducted at the PCR Laboratory of Narayani Hospital, 27 people from Parsa were diagnosed positive.

According to the hospital’s information officer Dr. Atulesh Chaurasiya, 27 people, including 10 women, have been infected with the coronavirus.

Three from Bara and one from Rautahat were also diagnosed coronavirus positive.

Meanwhile, a total of 125 people have lost their battle against the pandemic in the province so far. So far, 106 men and 19 women have lost their lives due to the infection in the province.

The death toll from COVID-19 has reached 43 in Parsa.

Similarly, 18 people have died in Bara, 15 in Dhanusha, 13 in Mahottari, 12 in Siraha, 12 in Saptari, six in Rautahat, five in Sarlahi, while and Indian national succumbed to the pandemic.
