Govt transfers 60 joint-secretaries



KATHMANDU: In what can be termed a major reshuffle of bureaucrats, the government has transferred 60 joint secretaries.

According to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, the government has transferred the joint secretaries to various ministries and agencies.

Several of them have been transferred to provincial ministries from the federal ministries while the joint secretaries working at the provincial level have been pulled to the federal ministries.

A few transfers, however, are within the federal level.
