45-yr-old man succumbs to COVID-19 at Patan Hospital



KATHMANDU: A person infected with the coronavirus has died in the course of treatment at Patan Hospital.

According to District Health Office, Lalitpur, a 45-year-old man succumbed to the disease at 9:30 pm on Tuesday.

He had been admitted to the hospital on August 7.

The number of coronavirus cases has reached 3,718 in the Kathmandu Valley as of Tuesday evening.

According to the statistics maintained by the Ministry of Health and Population, 164 have died in Nepal as of Tuesday.

As many as 33,533 have been infected with coronavirus while 19, 119 have recovered from it across the country.
