4.7-magnitude quake jolts far-western Nepal



KATHMANDU: An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale has rocked far-western Nepal.

According to National Seismological Center, Lainchaur, the tremor was recorded at 9:09 pm on Tuesday with its epicenter in Bajhang district.

The tremors were felt in districts including Bajhang, Darchula, Baitadi and Doti.

No casualties have been reported so far.
