14 new coronavirus cases in Gandaki Province, tally hits 806



KATHMANDU: COVID-19 cases in the Gandaki Province have reached 806 with the confirmation of 14 new cases on Friday evening.

The Provincial Health Directorate issued a statement this evening confirming the infection in 14 men, including six from Lamjung, five from Gorkha, two from Parbat and one from Kaski.

Five men from Madhya Nepal Municipality in Lamjung have been infected. Among the infected are two men aged 58 years and three men aged 29, 31 and 45 years. A 59-year-old man of Beshishahar Municipality has also become infected.

Men aged 20 and 24 years of Palungtar Municipality and men aged 17, 21 and 26 years of Bhimsen Thapa Municipality of Gorkha have also been infected.

A 70-year-old man of Phalebas Municipality and a 23-year-old man of Modi Rural Municipality of Parbat have been infected with the coronavirus.

Similarly, a 23-year-old man from Madi Rural Municipality of Kaski has also been found to have coronavirus.
