DAILEKH: As many as 21 coronavirus infected people from the Naumule-based quarantine have fled from the shelter last night.
According to Area Police Office Naumule, 21 people languishing at the quarantine in Bhairav Secondary School ran away last night.
Naumule Rural Municipality sources lamented that the fled had been complaining about the slackness in test and treatment despite being verified with coronavirus pandemic for more than 12 days.
“They were complaining that even after finding that they tested coronavirus positive, no further tests were carried for 12 days,” Bhadre Budha Magar, the Mayor of Naumule said.
“We got a few back and have placed in the quarantine again, the search for the rest is going on,” he said.
According to him, 92 COVID-19 infected people, including two females, are current staying in 2 quarantine facilities set up at the Bhairav Secondary School Naumule.
