Police, robbers exchange fire in Kavre



KATHMANDU:  Security personnel and a gang of robbers have exchanged fire in Roshi rural municipality-5 in Kavre district.

A gang of robbers fired shots on police when it encountered with the latter in the course of stealing Buddha Chitta (prayer beads), according to District Police Office, Kavre.

“An additional team of security personnel has been deployed to the incident site,” said DSP Kumar Bikram Thapa, adding, “The details will come only after the police team reaches the incident site.”
