Coronavirus cases reach 792 in Gandaki Pradesh

KATHMANDU: As many as 25 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the four districts of Gandaki Pradesh on Friday morning.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh, the newly infected are 21 from Nawalparasi East, two from Tanahun and one each from Syangja and Baglung.

The new cases were confirmed during tests at Provincial Tuberculosis Center, Pokhara and Bharatpur Hospital, Chitwan.

Preparations are underway to keep them in insolation wards of their respective districts, informed Dr Binod Bindu Sharma, the Spokesperson for COVID-19 Control and Prevention Program of Gandaki Pradesh.

With this, the number of infection cases has reached 792 in Gandaki Pradesh.
