Youth who committed suicide in Dailekh tests positive for COVID-19



DAILEKH:  A youth who committed suicide in his own house in Dailekh two days ago has tested positive for coronavirus.

A 21-year-old youth of Dullu municipality-10 has been diagnosed with the COVID-19 during postmortem.

The dead body had been taken to District Hospital, Dullu for postmortem. The youth was found hanging in his house on June 23.

“His swab had been taken to Surkhet after the doctor said he would conduct postmortem only after coronavirus testing,” said Ghanashyam Bhandari, mayor of Dullu municipality, adding, “The deceased tested positive for the novel coronavirus during test in Surkhet today.”

The youth had stayed for 14 days in quarantine of Panchakoshi Secondary School upon his return to Dailekh from India.
