Tokha’s COVID-19 patient is a grocer

KATHMANDU: One of the 2 new coronavirus cases of Tokha is found to be a grocer.

According to the the Ministry of Health and Population out of 72 new coronavirus cases found on Monday 2 are from Tokha Municipality. One of these two COVID-19 cases of Tokha is found to be a grocer.

The Ministry on Monday’s statement informed that there had been two cases from Tokha Municipality 3, and 6. Both Tokha cases are males of 27 years and 41 years respectively.

According to Tokha Praksah Adhikari, the Mayor of Tokha Municipality, one of these males has a grocery.

“One of the Monday’s cases here is found to be a person running grocery,” Adhikari said, “First we’ll send them to hospital, and start contact tracing as well.”

According to Mayor Adhikari, the Municipality had collected the swab of 306 people which included the grocers, medical suppliers and local representatives, out of which 2 tested coronavirus positive.
