Two held with stolen motorcycle in Sindhupalchowk



SINDHUPALCHOWK: Police have arrested two persons with a motorcycle stolen from the Kathmandu Valley.

The arrested are 23-year-old Achyut Shrestha and Bikash Tamang.

The motorcycle with the registration number, Pradesh 3-02-001 Pa 1927 was intercepted in Melamchi which was later found to have been stolen from the capital during a security check, said Police Inspector Phal Bahadur Tamang of Area Police Office, Melamchi.

According to police, the scooter had been stolen from Gaucharan in Kathmandu around four months ago. The motorcycle belongs to Prabhat Thapa.

The arrested have been handed over to Metropolitan Police Circle, Maligaun for necessary action.
