18 members of a family recover from COVID-19

PARSA: With the Coronavirus infection cases increasing in Nepal, the number of people recovering from the pandemic has also gone up.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the 18 people including two-month-old infant among those undergoing treatment at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj have recovered.

The hospital has discharged 18 people including a two-month-old infant and 10 children from the hospital, said medical superintendent of the hospital Madan Upadhyaya.

Those who have been discharged are 18 people including two-month-old infant and 10 children of the same family based in Chhapkaiya of Birgunj-3.

On May 3, a 37-year-old man of this family had been admitted to the hospital after being diagnosed  with the novel virus and other 17 family members were found to have been infected with the virus through contact tracing and admitted to the hospital on May 6.

With this, as many as 105 people have recovered from the COVID-19.
