UK reports 19, 506 deaths after 768 die in 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The United Kingdom (UK) has reported 768 new deaths taking the total tally to 19,506 as of Saturday morning.

With 5, 386 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 143, 464 according to Worldometer.

Currently, 123, 614 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 197, 074 and infecting 2,827, 402 people as of Saturday morning.
