India’s journalist tests positive for coronavirus

NEW DELHI: An Indian journalist who had attended Kamal Nath’s final news conference as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has tested positive for coronavirus.

Journalist’s daughter had earlier tested positive for the virus, Indian media reports have said.

A total of 15 people have been infected in Madhya Pradesh, and killed 11 so far.

Meanwhile, other journalists at the press conference have also been asked to self-quarantine.

India is now under a 21-day countrywide lockdown to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
