India’s COVID-19 cases cross 9.2 million

NEW DELHI: India recorded 44,276 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 9,221,998.

Currently, 445,851 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 8,641,404 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 134,700 mark.

With 489 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 134,743, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.
