227 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in ICU, 39 on ventilator support



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has said that 227 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 39 have been put on ventilator support.

According to the Ministry of Health, 11 persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, 19 in Province 2, 135 in Bagmati Province, six in Gandaki Province, 39 in Province 5 and 17 in Karnali Province.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Jageshwor Gautam also said that three in Province 1, 34 in Bagmati and two in Province 5 are on the ventilator support.
