Gandaki Pradesh records 41 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: Forty-one additional cases have been confirmed in Gandaki Pradesh on Friday morning.

The new cases are 17 from Kaski, three from Lamjung, 12 from Gorkha, nine from Nawalpur, said the Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 3,645 in Gandaki Pradesh.

Currently, 1,145 people are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals in the province.

Meanwhile, 2,449 people have returned home after recovery.

The number of deaths from coronavirus has reached 33 so far, according to Dr Binod Bindu Sharma, the spokesperson of COVID-19 Control and Prevention Program of Gandaki Pradesh.
