KATHMANDU: A minor girl has ruthlessly been murdered after rape in Bajhang district.
Chairperson of Masta rural municipality Bhagawati Boraha told Khabarhub that a 12-year-old Samjhana Kami was murdered after rape.
“Samjhana Kami was murdered after rape on Wednesday. The postmortem report has also come out. The investigation into the case is underway,” said Bohara.
Police have arrested an 18-year-old Rajendra Bohara in connection with the case, according to Bohara.
Samjhana was murdered after rape when she went to Simchhana from Khikala to provide fodders to the cattle on Wednesday evening.
Spokesperson of Sudurpaschim Pradesh Police Office, SSP Mukesh Kumar Singh said they are carrying out investigation into the case after taking Bohara into custody.
