India’s COVID-19 cases cross 5.8 million

KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus cases has crossed 5.8 million in India until Friday morning.

With 85,919 cases in the past 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 5,816,103.

Currently, 970,795 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 4,752,991 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed 92,000.

With 1,144 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 92,317, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus pandemic has killed 987,066 and infected 32,394,801 people so far globally.
