Locals obstruct last rites of COVID-19 victim



KASKI: Locals of Pokhara have obstructed the management of the dead body of a person who died due to coronavirus infection. The Nepal Army has managed the bodies amidst the obstruction.

A 55-year-old man from Andhikhola-1 of Syangja died at the Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara last night.

It was decided to bury the dead body the bank of Seti River in Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 32.

However, the locals tried to block the road by burning tires saying that the body should not be managed at the place. Police had to use force to clear the road.
