A staffer at a local Savings and credit cooperative, Sweta was tying the knot on June 29. Pokharel family was excited with the wedding. Sweta committed suicide before the special day.

Police began investigation into the case.

During the investigation, Sweta’s younger sister Sarita revealed that Sabin Parajuli, former boyfriend of Sweta, had tortured her by sending messages warning that he would ruin her new conjugal life.

Despite strong emotional support from Sarita, her elder sister could not bear the mental suffering and resorted to suicide.
