COVID-19 patient escapes from Janakpurdham Provincial Hospital



JANAKPUR: A COVID-19 patient has escaped from Janakpurdham Provincial Hospital on Sunday.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwar Karki, the patient escaped from the isolation room by breaking the window this morning.

The 40-year-old from Sarlahi is mentally ill and had been trying to flee time and again.

More than 40 people from Sarlahi, Mahottari, Dhanusha and Siraha are being treated in the isolation of the hospital.
