Police constable infected with coronavirus in Banke



BANKE: A policeman in Banke has also been diagnosed with coronavirus infection for the first time.

Banke Police Spokesperson DSP Shiva Bahadur Singh informed that a police constable working at Kalaphata post of Narainapur Rural Municipality was confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus.

He added that the police post has been sealed.

The Narainapur Rural Municipality in Banke district is now the hotspot for the coronavirus. The site that lies 35 km southeast of the city of Nepalgunj is close to Indian villages.
