France reports 21, 856 deaths, 158, 183 infection cases

KATHMANDU: France has registered 21, 856 deaths after 516 died in a single day, according to Worldometer.

With 2,239 new cases, the total number of infection cases has surged to 158, 183 as of Friday morning.

Currently, 94, 239 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 5,053 are critical. Meanwhile, 42,088 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 190, 496 and infecting 2,716, 320 people as of Friday morning.
