Issuing a statement on Friday, President Bhandari stated that Nepal has done a commendable job in rescue, relief distribution and rehabilitation by reconstructing the facilities damaged by the mega earthquake that struck Nepal on April 25, 2015 with its epicenter in Barpak.

“We are united to give a new life to the Nepali people terrorized by the constant tremors and those rendered homeless by the devastating earthquake,” reads the statement.

Bhandari in the statement has thanked all those who assisted in the rescue and rehabilitation work day and night selflessly.

The government has expedited reconstruction of facilities damaged by the mega earthquake.
